The three "citation needed" tags in the "Leather" and "Food" sections, and infobox, date back to August 2024, well before the nomination. The "Leather" section is entirely unsourced. Most entries in the "Evolution" (species complex) and "Taxonomy" (species) sections are unsourced. The "Etymology" section has a paragraph that ends with unsourced claims, followed by an entirely unsourced paragraph. The "Metabolism" has another paragraph that ends with unsourced claims, and the "Conservation" section has another unsourced paragraph. Also, the "Sonny Side" youtube video used as a reference at the end of the "Food" section appears to be unreliable. This was not ready for a GA nomination; it is too far from passing WP:GACR 2b.
