Notability

Radio Wien, Welt am Abend, The Daily Telegraph, and Georges Perec seem to be reliable sources independent of the subject that have provided non-trivial coverage, with the first three sources being newly added. For your awareness, editors are generally expected to use only one registered account. TPI81AF (talk) 16:27, 8 September 2026 (UTC)

The sources that you mention are not about the article's subject, it is mentioned as part of a larger trend. You need sources discussing this toy beyond its original release to avoid WP:RECENT issues, but as it currently stands the only pieces that mention it after the 1940s/60s are throwaway euphemisms and analogies. The trivia issues are not resolved by adding further trivia. ~2026-48391-10 (talk) 12:35, 9 September 2026 (UTC)
I am inclined to believe that the song broadcast by Radio Wien entitled Kleiner Wakouwa is entirely about the article's subject, unless you can produce evidence to the contrary. That the term 'push puppet' is even used in "throwaway euphemisms and analogies" at all is sterling proof that it has entered the cultural lexicon and is sufficiently notable. Since you seem speechless, so soundly swayed by the reasons afore conveyed, your silence has been construed as assent and I shall remove those templates no longer applicable to the article should no further objections arise. TPI81AF (talk) 20:27, 15 September 2026 (UTC)
