His accent is New Jerseyian. In Muppet's Christmas Carol he says: "I'm from New Joisey!" [unsigned comment]

Ironically, most people from New Jersey don't say "New Joisey"--it tends to be something non-New Jerseyians say much more often, and we (as in New Jerseyians) in general only say it when mocking the people who say it to mock us. //MrD9 23:15, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
