The collision between Kitty Hawk and K-314, together with the rather sensational claim that the collision risked escalation to war is sourced to the Daily Express newspaper - which is a very low quality source for an artucle on Naval history, particularly for claims that the incident could have escalated to war. We need a much better source for this. In addition, it should be noted that the Daily Express article does not even mention Vladivostok, so the claims that the Soviet cruiser tracked Kitty Hawk and called up K-314 are unsourced.Nigel Ish (talk)

Excellent article. Easily meets the six key requirements being well-written, verifiable, broad in its coverage, scrupulously neutral, stable and has a PD picture.
Good use of Russian and English language sources. Overall the reader is not left wanting for any additional information. --Stivushka (talk) 10:22, 24 August 2024 (UTC)
