Sir Stephen Fry?

As Stephen Fry was appointed Knight Bachelor in the 2025 New Year Honours, would it be appropriate to affix "Sir" to the article?

For instance, it'd read "Sir Stephen John Fry (born 24 August 1957) is an English actor, broadcaster, comedian, and writer."

Various sources (including Fry's own Twitter account and The Independent) already address him as such, and other celebrities who have been awarded the title (like Sir Paul McCartney) have it on their page. TangoWhiskeyDelta (talk) 02:01, 27 November 2025 (UTC)

Alma mater

" The remark " is pedantic. Wikipedia normally cites the college. In Fry's case this was Queen's College, Cambridge. Carusus (talk) 12:01, 27 November 2025 (UTC)

President of Calm

Not really that much into Wikipedia but I find it strange that the article makes no mention of his work for calm both as president and going on who wants to be a millionaire earning money for the charity ~2026-98490-1 (talk) 13:59, 13 February 2026 (UTC)

please provide some link to Calm (whatever it is. Do you mean Campaign Against Living Miserably or something else??) and preferably to reliable sources about Fry's role in it. Otherwise we cannot even begin to include it. Arnoutf (talk) 17:42, 13 February 2026 (UTC)
