We are debating whether or not this article should be merged into Reformed Baptist, Sovereign Grace Baptist, or even into the broad Baptist article. This stub has a relatively small editor base and we are looking for broader opinions. Thank you. ReformedArsenal (talk) 14:27, 13 November 2012 (UTC)

Definitely not into the Baptists article, but the differences between Reformed Baptists and Sovereign Grace Baptists are so subtle, and the overlap is so significant that they could be treated together. BTW, this RFC is fine, but there was no discussion set up with the merge tags, and the links go to different pages. StAnselm (talk) 20:11, 13 November 2012 (UTC)

My vote broadly, at this point, is to merge all three under Reformed Baptist, something with Reformed Baptist being the broad article title, explaining that Particular Baptist, Sovereign Grace Baptist and other groups fitting under Reformed Baptist as sub sections. I went ahead and did the merge, the articles worked pretty well to just copy and paste over, but could probably use some clean up. If you guys wouldn't mind doing a once over for redundant statements that would be great!!! ReformedArsenal (talk) 00:08, 15 November 2012 (UTC)

Uh, you've done the right thing, the differences between Particular, Strict, Sovereign Grace and so on are so subtle that they do not merit separate pages. The merge is well done, everything is in the right place, and 'tis an interesting read. Whiteguru (talk) 22:16, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
