I'll be tackling my first GA review with this one! I noticed there is currently a lot of video game articles awaiting review (including one of my own), so I'll start by looking at an article for a game that I have actually played. Expect a response in a few days.
GA criteria

See what the criteria are and what they are not

Sources
- All sources come from reliable publications, although I found a few more that may be helpful to include.
- Nintendo's Official Kirby Website Is Hilariously Messed Up Right Now - Covers an incident of the official website being covered with text from The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka.
- Not really relevant to this specific game.
- Looking For Super Kirby Clash Passwords? Here Are A Few To Get You Started - Covers the use of passwords to unlock rewards.
- Implemented.
- Super Kirby Clash releasing today on the Nintendo Switch - or use another source that mentions the same topic. Use to detail how there are over 100 quests in Super Kirby Clash.
- Implemented.
- Nintendo's Official Kirby Website Is Hilariously Messed Up Right Now - Covers an incident of the official website being covered with text from The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka.
- IGN's source "The 14 Best Free-to-Play Games on Nintendo Switch Right Now" is now titled "The 16 Best Free-to-Play Games on Nintendo Switch Right Now".
- I saw that, but I figured I should keep the title as it was when I used the source.
- Not essential to update, but sources from PocketGamer and GamesRadar+ are missing archive links.
- InternetArchiveBot wouldn't archive them for some reason.
- I believe there are adequate enough sources to expand the development section, using HAL's blog as a primary source. Simple additions such as "what were the roles of the development teams" or "why was this added to the game" should go a long way. The following blog posts are not yet included in the article, but may prove useful for expanding this section
- Congratulations! "Super Kirby Clash" released! Vol.1 - covers initial development plans and organization.
- Congratulations! "Super Kirby Clash" released! Vol.2 - covers online support and testing.
- Thanks - couldn't find these. I'll try to implement them in the article shortly.
- Update on this: I read through them and can't really find a way to implement them in the article. Someone more skilled than me might be able to think of a way to use them, but I couldn't.
Prose
- In the sentence "the others can be controlled by CPUs or other players", the link for CPU goes to the wrong target. I assume this is meant to redirect to CPU player at Artificial intelligence in video games.
- Fixed.
- As per WP:THEGAME, the phrase "the game" is used very frequently in the article, and can be substituted by its title or removed in many instances.
- I have removed as many of these as I could.
- What is Vigor? slight clarification may be needed.
- Clarified.
- Link Empyrean.
- Done.
- Who is Taranza in this context? Why are they mistaken for Parallel Nightmare?
- Taranza is a recurring character in the series, and the game doesn't explain how they get mistaken for Parallel Nightmare, so I can't do much here.
I'm working through your comments now. I'll reply to each of them inline as I address them. Please let me know if you have any other concerns. QuicoleJR (talk) 17:24, 9 January 2026 (UTC)
- Just letting you know that I'm going to get a bit busier over the next few days. I'll try to get this done as quickly as I can, but it might be a bit. QuicoleJR (talk) 03:16, 12 January 2026 (UTC)
- Any status updates? Z-Gamer Guys (talk) 09:01, 27 January 2026 (UTC)
- Sorry, it's been a difficult month for me. I'll try to finish this up soon, but I wouldn't blame you for failing this if I take too much longer. QuicoleJR (talk) 13:43, 27 January 2026 (UTC)
- Don't worry about it. Be sure to take time to do what you need and respond when you're ready. Best wishes. Z-Gamer Guys (talk) 16:44, 27 January 2026 (UTC)
- @QuicoleJR, @Z-Gamer Guys. This GAN has been inactive for a while, any updates? 11WB (talk) 08:27, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
- IRL stuff has been keeping me busy. I plan to get to this when time allows, but I don't know when that will be and I wouldn't be opposed to this GAN being closed for me to renominate later. QuicoleJR (talk) 19:46, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
I would be happy to takeover as reviewer. Let me know if you would both find that acceptable!11WB (talk) 19:55, 10 March 2026 (UTC)- Oh wait, I got mixed up. Ignore that. No rush, take all the time you need! 11WB (talk) 19:56, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
- @QuicoleJR let me know if you would like for me to fill in to handle any reviewer comments. I'd be willing to take over if absolutely necessary, though I understand you want to complete this yourself so I'll only do so if you request it. Figured I'd at least leave a comment so there's a backup in case something happens. I hope things are going well on your end and I wish you the best for your irl matters! - No worries! I'm glad you got around to it. I wouldn't fail the review simply because you were busy. I saw your comment on how you couldn't find a way to implement the other two development blogs into the development section. While I didn't see anything major in the second blog, you could add the following sentence from the first blog. "Tadashi Kawai, director of Kirby Battle Royale (2017), applied his knowledge from that title to develop the cooperative multiplayer elements." Additionally, I find it unnecessary to list the many programmers and designers who worked on the game in its infobox. I'll try to go through another read-through later tonight since it's been so long, but hopefully we can wrap up this review shortly. - Z-Gamer Guys (talk) 19:15, 8 April 2026 (UTC)

- For the hub world one, the source uses the phrase "hub village" which is why you may not have seen it, but I just double-checked and it is mentioned. I'll add the development info in an hour or two, feel free to ping me if I forget. Any other issues? QuicoleJR (talk) 17:58, 9 May 2026 (UTC)
- Sorry to keep you waiting for so long. I certainly didn't ping you an hour or two later. Life just got a bit busy is all. Anyways, what you have done thus far has been very good, and I saw your final revisions to the article and comment about the mention of a hub world in the source, so that just about covers everything! I'll go ahead and remove the extensive list of programmers and designers from the infobox myself, and after that, this article will receive a big good article promotion after a solid five months. Glad to finally put this to rest and get some rest myself. - Z-Gamer Guys (talk) 22:52, 23 May 2026 (UTC)
