Goddammit already

Why does Wikipedia think we're stupid and incapable of pronouncing a simple surname like Tillis? 67.86.58.208 (talk) 15:22, 16 August 2025 (UTC)

Wha'choo talkin' 'bout -- Tillis? I'm ambivalent about including or excluding the the pronunciation. What I object to is the deletion, without explanation, of archived source material from the article, without explanation, e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Thom_Tillis&diff=1306216560&oldid=1306164808 which other editors may want to use to add further content to the article. But should we also remove the phonetics from our article on "Paris"? If we do, those "stupid" foreigners might say it wrong.BBQboffingrill me 04:34, 17 August 2025 (UTC)

The Foreign Policy Section is Pithy

Tillis has voiced support for continued proxy conflict with the Russian Federation as well as confrontation with China over Taiwan. He also demeans opponents of the war as "not adults." Given the risks of nuclear war, the foreign policy section needs to be greatly expanded with clarifications as to how exactly Tillis believes that a nuclear war with either the Russian Federation or the PRC can be "won." The absurdity and unreality involved in his positions cannot be left out of any "NPOV" reading of the Wikipedia rules, sorry.  Preceding unsigned comment added by ~2026-12710-55 (talk) 13:53, 26 February 2026 (UTC)
