Wrong information
I am the subject of this article and have a conflict of interest. I’d like to request changes to the following content because it is inaccurate / unsourced…
“Raised in the city of Rishon LeZion, he is related to Israeli director Shay Capone. After graduating high school, Capone was conscripted into the Israel Defense Forces in 2004. He served as a soldier and later a squad leader with the IDF's 202nd battalion of the Paratroopers Brigade, and served during the 2006 Lebanon war.” ~2026-22440-78 (talk) 01:31, 13 April 2026 (UTC)
- We can't verify whether you actually are Tomer Capone, but anyway: Which parts are incorrect? I didn't find sources for the specific batallion, so I removed it. I also removed the claim regarding the paratroopers, since it didn't seem relevant and the source isn't of high quality. — Chrisahn (talk) 08:02, 18 April 2026 (UTC)
Miss information
“I am the subject of this article and have a conflict of interest. I’d like to request changes to the following content because it is incorrect and was said jokingly not figuratively.
” In a 2019 interview, he addressed the spelling of his surname: "It's supposed to be with an 'e' at the end, but we don't want people to read it 'Capone' like the gangster. We don't want any misunderstandings." ~2026-22440-78 (talk) 01:36, 13 April 2026 (UTC)
- We can't verify whether you actually are Tomer Capone, but anyway: Hm... That's what the source says, and it doesn't say or imply that it was a joke. This is a case where it might really help if you verified that you are Capone. Then we could probably believe you when you say it was a joke, and we could simply drop the part "but we don't ... misunderstandings", because it's not very important anyway. — Chrisahn (talk) 08:13, 18 April 2026 (UTC)

” In 2017, he was one of several Israeli celebrities who recreated iconic Israeli photos to celebrate the country's 69th year of independence. Kapon recreated the Life cover of Yossi Ben Hanan after the Six-Day War, which showed him as a young IDF troop triumphantly clutching a rifle while standing in the waters of the Suez Canal”
- capone instead to put a flower in the barrel of the rifle

I would like to request a modification to the following sentence:
"In 2017, he was one of several Israeli celebrities who recreated iconic Israeli photos to celebrate the country's 69th year of independence. Kapon recreated the Life cover of Yossi Ben Hanan after the Six-Day War, which showed him as a young IDF troop triumphantly clutching a rifle while standing in the waters of the Suez Canal."
Reason: The current description is incomplete. In the recreation, I placed a flower in the barrel of the rifle, which was a deliberate and meaningful artistic choice that is not reflected here.
Proposed change: "...which showed him as a young IDF troop standing in the waters of the Suez Canal, with a flower placed in the barrel of the rifle ~2026-22440-78 (talk) 01:46, 13 April 2026 (UTC)

Change
I am the subject of this article and have a conflict of interest.
I would like to request the removal of the following statement:
"he is related to Israeli director Shay Capone."
Reason: This information is incorrect. I am not related to Shay Capone.
Proposed change: Remove this statement.
Sources: If needed, I can provide clarification, but there should be no reliable source supporting this ~2026-22440-78 (talk) 01:51, 13 April 2026 (UTC)

- The article currently says:
- After graduating from high school, Capone was conscripted into the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in 2004. He served as a soldier and later as a squad leader, including during the 2006 Lebanon War.
- As far as I can tell, that's correct according to the sources. If something is still incorrect, let us know. — Chrisahn (talk) 08:35, 18 April 2026 (UTC)
- The article currently says:
Tomer Capone's years in the IDF
Tomer Capone, Israeli star of The Boys series, talked about his years in the IDF.

- Please be aware that much of the most controversial content has been removed from the live Ynet article. The original interview can be accessed via the archived version. Should we remove the live link altogether from the reference? Pristino (talk) 07:10, 17 April 2026 (UTC)
- Strange. The full content is still there in the mobile version, but not in the dektop version. For the archive URL, we already used the mobile version (since the desktop URL doesn't seem to work well on archive.org, it redirects to a paywalled page), so I also changed the main URL in the ref to the mobile version. — Chrisahn (talk) 09:01, 17 April 2026 (UTC)
