Talk:Triangle Publications

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Triangle Publications long before 1947

Not sure why the article states that Triangle Publications was founded in 1947 (body of article), and also states that it was founded in 1946 (infobox). As shown at this link to a December 1940 issue of Movie-Radio Guide, the masthead on p. 2 shows that the publisher is still Cecelia Company, named for the mother of Triangle Publications founder Walter Annenberg. The masthead of the very next issue of Movie-Radio Guide, dated January 1941, clearly shows that the publisher's name has been changed to Triangle Publications. Thus, Triangle Publications existed over half-a-decade before the inconsistent "1946" and "1947" stated in the article as the founding of the company. Jmg38 (talk) 23:41, 17 July 2025 (UTC)
