Win2VNC
the description of win2vnc here does not sound (imo) correct. win2vnc allows you to act as if a single keyboard and mouse were connected to both computers, not as if both monitors were connected to the same computer. (If the latter were true, then you should be able to e.g. drag windows between monitors).
such software does exist eg maxivista or zonescreen

- I have adjusted the Win2VNC wording to make this a little clearer. Beechhouse (talk) 12:34, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

Contradiction
The opening paragraph says the server is only for Windows, but the Infobox says it's only for Linux... which is it?195.62.201.126 (talk) 15:40, 26 July 2021 (UTC)
Notability
Alert: There is a request of deletion for this historical software. An unknown people has requested the deletion of UltraVNC on Wikipedia. Help is welcome.
UltraVNC supports the RFC/VNC standards.
It is used by million of users in the World (personal and professional usages).
I have already added more website sources to confirm that this software exists and is used in the World since 2002. For examples: 01net, PCWelt, PCWorld, ZDNet.
It has been cited in several magazines, journals and books and in several academic articles.
I have added YouTube video links too (a lot of videos have more 300k views.
Note: This software will be celebrating its 23th anniversary soon and is always in development.

- Request for deletion of this article of such invaluable software is, in my humble opinion, misguided, probably driven by someone unfamiliar with its value and notoriety. Millions of users worldwide understand how important this software is. I have personally been using it since its inception, and have also personally seen it used in professional IT settings for the same length of time. Suggesting deletion of this article only demonstrates an unfortunate lack of knowledge of UltraVNC in those proposing its deletion.~2025-33896-01 (talk) 05:57, 5 January 2026 (UTC)
