December 2025 record wind power

According to https://grid.iamkate.com wind power reached 23.82 GW on 5th December 2025. Let's see if it's beaten in the next few days. There should be some UK news reporting on it soon. Gsurfer04 (talk) 22:29, 5 December 2025 (UTC)

Isn't the primary energy percentage misleading?

I translated the lead section of the article to Spanish, and I found the section on primary energy to be a bit misleading. Unless there's a good reason to talk about primary energy, what the end consumer really cares about is the total energy mix -- this figure right now makes it look like it's only 5% of the total mix, when it's actually more than 30%. And importantly enough -- part of the policy challenge is really to convert most of the current uses of primary energy through electrification (meaning, electrify the energy grid as much as possible). It's unclear why this figure is being presented at the top. Scann (talk) 01:19, 21 June 2026 (UTC)
