WRT Windows 3.0 logo
Should this Windows logo be featured on the article? I'm not sure it was ever widely used to represent Windows 3.0.
The file links to this scan of a CD of a beta version of Windows NT 3.1, which as well as being unreleased is also not Windows 3.0.
One of the developers at the time gives some input here: https://x.com/bradsilverberg/status/1584760269414494208
"In 1990 there was no official Windows logo. Many different logos were used by various groups (esp Sales and Mktg) in the company. The 3.1 logo was made the official one that all groups in the company used."

- So far all I've managed to find is this promotional watch:

- and this pin with a color variation of the logo:

- I wouldn't count that as evidence the logo was widely used—unlike Windows 3.1 where the flag logo was featured prominently on the packaging, throughout the OS, etc.
