Taran District
District in Kostanay Region, Kazakhstan

Taran District (Kazakh: Таран ауданы, Taran audany), also known as Beimbet Mailin, is a district of Kostanay Region in northern Kazakhstan. The administrative center is the selo of Taran.[3] The population is 27,691 (2013 estimate),[2] about a tenth of whom are Kazakhstan Germans.
