Hello, I am 10art1. I mostly browse English wikipedia, sometimes Russian.

I have a lot of interests, such as birding, airsoft, fitness, photography, the NYC subway, and finance. These are well documented on wikipedia, and I have nothing to add other than fixing the occasional spelling or grammar mistake.

However, rum is the most beautiful spirit, and the most disrespected one. Go to any American liquor store, and there are 15 shelves of whiskey, all properly labeled "Scotch", "Bourbon", "Irish", "Rye"... and for rum, you have so much more diversity, and yet you have 2 shelves, and all uncategorized, or, worse, categorized by color (light, gold, dark), and most of the space is taken up by malibu, flavored Bacardi... and Wikipedia is not so different. Articles on rum, rum history, and major people and distilleries just don't get the same attention as more respected wines and spirits. That's the reason that I went from a gnome to a more active editor.
