John Seton Mackay, 2 Henry Place, engraver and copperhead printer, 1866-67[2][3][4]
His father was John Seton Mackay (25 February 1823 - 1888), an engraver and copperhead printer from Edinburgh.
His mother was Margaret Fraser (born c. 1828) from Inverness. John and Margaret married on 13 February 1848 in Edinburgh.
Thomas Mackay was born on 4 November 1850 in Edinburgh.[5]
