Hello, I'm a start-up and advertising person within the technology / internet industries. I was the founder and CEO of BeeswaxIO through the company's sale to Comcast. I am the founder of Marketecture.tv where I host the popular Marketecture podcast about advertising technology.

I recently published my first book: Yield, How Google Bought, Built, and Bullied its Way to Advertising Dominance. The book is a history of ad tech spanning from the invention of the first ad exchange through the creation of the Google monopoly, and the subsequent antitrust case in which a break-up of the company is being considered.

Formerly, I worked extensively in the ad tech industry, at DoubleClick, Google, and AppNexus. I'm the creator of the VAST standard, and co-patent holder on Nielsen DAR.

I live in Manhattan with my family and only edit Wikipedia once in a while.
