Learning analytics (LA) is applied to examine the relationship between Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) processes and academic success. By integrating learning management systems with psychological data, like self-efficacy and cognitive strategies, researchers have found correlations between learning practices and success.[1] Studies have shown that students who take part in focused, moderate study sessions and make regular annotations or reflective posts are likely to display greater confidence and higher achievement than those who study for extended sessions without any organized structure. These findings have led to the development of dashboards that use learning analytics, allowing learners to visualize their learning and to reflect metacognitively. This integration of learning analytics and self-regulation theory also helps assess learners.[1][2]
