November unreferenced articles backlog driveHey there! :) In case you are looking for some articles to add sources to for the upcoming Wikipedia:WikiProject Unreferenced articles/Backlog drives/November 2025, for games articles that you want to look for sources for, you could see if there is something at the RPG, D&D, or B&TG project pages. I will try to find some time to see if there are more games articles that are unsourced but not tagged as such. If you want an additional challenge, I could also look for unsourced articles that were redirected, and restore them so that they can count towards the drive! Best of luck and best wishes, and thank you for doing what you can. :) BOZ (talk) 13:37, 30 October 2025 (UTC) Guide to temporary accountsHello, BD2412. This message is being sent to remind you of significant upcoming changes regarding logged-out editing. Starting 4 November, logged-out editors will no longer have their IP address publicly displayed. Instead, they will have a temporary account (TA) associated with their edits. Users with some extended rights like administrators and CheckUsers, as well as users with the temporary account IP viewer (TAIV) user right will still be able to reveal temporary users' IP addresses and all contributions made by temporary accounts from a specific IP address or range. How do temporary accounts work?

Non-IP IP-talk noticeThis is part of a cleanup based on Wikipedia:Request a query#Non-IP user-talk pages with "Blanked IP talk". Thanks so much for working on this report. I have modified the last-edit date to show all IP user talk pages that have not been modified in the last four years (i.e. since 31 December 2021). My recollection is that someone, somewhere, chose five years as a good "staleness" time, but I don't know if that was adopted as a rule anywhere. Per utrs:107523, @Asilvering concluded, based on CU evidence, that (correct me if I'm wrong) they were most likely not a sock of User:NasirRanjhyWala. Based on that, should the G5 deletions have been reconsidered? I conditionally unblocked them, but it seems odd to ask them to appeal the same thing to every single admin who G5 deleted one of their pages, now that the evidence has shifted.
