Introduction
My name is Beth McClure. This is my first semester in the Masters in Technical writing program at MGA. I'm a bit nervous about returning to school! Its been quite some time since I earned my BA in Music from the University of Alabama, a BS in MIS from the University of South Florida and a few MBA classes at the University of West Florida. I worked for almost 10 years in Business Process Development during which my primary responsibility was developing, testing, documenting, teaching and continuously updating process for AT&T Business Services. My 4th child pushed me over the top and I left AT&T to become a stay at home mom. After moving to Lawrenceville from Pensacola three years ago I began to homeschool my two younger children. I now have two kids in virtual school, one homeschooler and one still hanging on to the drama of the brick and mortar public high school. I don't really have free time but I do take breaks to watch college football (Roll Tide!), sing when the opportunity arises, and to go camping.
