We say ${\displaystyle \rho }$ obeys the root condition if all its zeros are in ${\displaystyle \left|w\right|\leq 1}$ and the zeros on ${\displaystyle \left|w\right|=1}$ are simple. This can be done by using the Cohn Schur Criterion.
