Abena Sintim Aboagye was born and raised in Ghana on 6th July 1999. She developed an interest in cooking at a young age, influenced by Ghanaian home-style dishes and traditional markets. Her passion for food evolved into a professional career focused on showcasing African cuisine.

Career

ChefAbbys began her career as a digital food creator, sharing traditional Ghanaian and African recipes online, she has a degree in Construction Management as well. Her work emphasizes the use of local ingredients and aims to make African dishes more accessible to global audiences.

In 2024, she established The chefabbys school of food, which offers culinary workshops, food tourism experiences, and cooking classes centered on Ghanaian and West African cuisine. She has also collaborated with local and international food brands to promote African food culture.

In 2025, she launched The Big Street Feast, a large-scale feeding initiative designed to provide meals for over 15,000 people across multiple communities in Accra Ghana.
