About Me
My first contributions to Wikipedia was in 2018. I started out by making small contributions and doing clean-ups to improve the readability of articles. Over time, I began regularly contributing to local area articles. I stopped contributing for a couple years after this to pursue higher education. I resumed editing on Wikipedia in around 2022 on a more frequent basis. However, I work full-time and editing Wikipedia is a hobby for me. I only make contributions when I have the time and when it is something that is enjoyable for me.
Real-life interests
I have a wide range of interests in my real life, and I always enjoy learning new skills and picking up new hobbies. Some of my current interests/hobbies right now are:
- Musical theatre: I go to the theatre often, especially in the Toronto area
- Movies: Although I don't necessarily watch a lot of movies, I do enjoy them. I watch nearly any genre of movie, but my favourites are horror and comedy
- Movies seen in 2024: Argylle, Kung Fu Panda 4, Abigail, Inside Out 2, Deadpool & Wolverine, Speak No Evil, Moana 2
- Movies seen in 2025: Captain America: Brave New World, Thunderbolts*, M3GAN 2.0, The Strangers – Chapter 2
- Baseball, especially the Toronto Blue Jays
- Basketball, especially the Toronto Raptors
- History, especially Canadian history, World War I and II, Cold War
- Environmental science
My Contributions
My main focus at the moment is improving the presence and quality of Wikipedia pages related to Canadian musical theatre artists, companies, and shows. While the United States and England have a strong representation in this area, I believe Canada is underrepresented. There are many Canadian artists and theatre companies who meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines who merit inclusion, and I aim to help close this gap. In addition, I am a member of WikiProject Musical Theatre, and am open to helping expand and/or improve the quality of any musical theatre article from around the world.
I am also a member of WikiProject Canada. I am generally happy to help contribute to any Canada-related article, especially relating to current events, arts, culture, and history.
