A fifth-generation Californian. A snow-skiier. A sailboat racer. A water-skiier. A dad.

As you can see, I did some editing back in 2004 and 2005 and was involved in some interesting discussions when a number of policies were just forming. When I have a chance, I try to keep my hand in.

In the last few years, I worked on Zika articles, the very early pages for SARS-CoV-2, and some articles about the San Francisco Bay Area (Tilden Park) and the San Joaquin Delta. I hope to eventually bring my old contributions below up to more modern wikipedia standards. When the storm seemed to be brewing in December 2020, I spent a good amount of time cleaning up the Electoral Count Act page in time for the expected objections process, which is probably the contribution of mine that have been read by the most people.

Wikipedia — and democracy — only works if there are reliable sources doing real reporting. So I'm working on new pages for notable, independent journalists.

Pages I've added from Wikipedia:WikiProject Women scientists/Worklist.

Try it yourself, pick one at random and go for it!
