Hello, I'm Colby Peterson, hailing from central Massachusetts. I love Wikipedia because I believe that truth eventually emerges from the collaboration and freedom of speech. I'll try to sum up myself with the babel and user entries- I'm definately for transparency. My education is in film and video production, but I have a lot of experience working in politics.

My Philosophy
I'm reluctant to be categorized as either a strict deletionist or inclusionist, but rather as an optimistic eventualist. I commonly look at the recent changes or new page pages to help clean up the mess, but I believe wikipedia is making its way towards the best repository of information the world has ever seen. I tend to be non-confrontational around here as well: I will be bold, but if someone really wants to modify an edit, I'd rather just move on and do work elsewhere than try to defend it on a talk page.
