Kangaroo Cabs is a Sri Lankan taxi and transportation services company headquartered in Nugegoda, Sri Lanka. Founded in 1987 by Sunil Fonseka, the company provides taxi services, airport transfers, corporate transportation and vehicle rental services across the country.[1]

Kangaroo Cabs was founded in 1987 by Sunil Fonseka with the aim of providing organised taxi services in Colombo and surrounding areas.[3]
The company initially began operations with a fleet of approximately 20 vehicles and later expanded its services across Sri Lanka.[4]
In 2011, Kangaroo Cabs introduced online booking through its website, allowing customers to request taxis immediately or reserve rides in advance.[5]
In 2019, the company marked its 30th anniversary of operations in Sri Lanka’s transportation sector.[6]
