I was educated at Canterbury Boys' High School 1954-1957.

I was employed as a Clerk in a private legal firm from 1958 to 1993.

I was employed as Office Manager for 3801 Limited from 1993 to 1999.

I am now retired, but actively pursuing my hobby.

I have been a member of the New South Wales Division of Australian Railway Historical Society since 1957.

I have been working on adding to Wikipedia pages references to articles appearing in Australian Railway Historical Society Bulletin, now called Australian Railway History.

Additionally, I am assisting in indexing the photographic collection held by the Railway Resource Centre operated by Australian Railway Historical Society New South Wales Division.
