I'm currently a PhD candidate at the University of Leeds researching the Geometry and Dynamics of Topological Solitons (currently vortices in the Abelian Higgs Model). My broader research interests are in Differential Geometry and Mathematical Physics. Outside of Mathematics, my hobbies are fellwalking, maintaining several laptops and PCs running Linux and reading novels, mainly Science Fiction.
