From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Wikizines are tiny pocket-sized stapled 8-page pamphlets (or zines) designed to be handed out by Wikimedians to quickly educate interested parties about some aspect of the Wikimedia Movement. They were inspired by evangelical Chick tracts. The prototype, What is Wikisource? (Q136349224), was created for the LIANZA conference in Wellington, New Zealand, 23–24 September 2025. Its popularity inspired WANZ to support the creation of a series.
