I've been editing Wikipedia for more than two decades, with a particular interest in the history of California and the Sierra Nevada.
Much of my recent work focuses on Yosemite and the central Sierra, including historic transportation, logging, conservation, tourism, and the people and places that shaped the region. I enjoy working from contemporary newspapers, government reports, maps, photographs, and other historical sources, particularly when they can fill gaps in the existing historical record.
I'm also a photographer and contribute my own photographs to Wikimedia Commons, with an emphasis on historic places, landscapes, architecture, and infrastructure.
I've worked in the video game industry since 1998 and have also contributed historical materials to The Strong National Museum of Play.
