I would probably login to Wikipedia a few times in a year, so don't expect much activity from me. Most likely, I'll check out random articles, found some problem or things I could help, then login and edit. The Inkscape project is still put on hold, as I found no long breaks yet from my hectic life to work on vector images. A sandbox was created for my experimental needs, but nothing major there...
Notable and planned contributions
In view of the "discouraging" quality of (especially local) logo images, I decided to create or replace with the higher quality version of those logos. I'm also learning Inkscape to build SVG logos for some simpler logos. Any advice on uploading vector logos "legally" are welcomed. (I'm not a pro at writing fair-use rationales.)

Astro Channels
I planned to work on Astro channel logos but is now abandoned. The rectangle in-house logos were flat-looking at first, making them SVG-friendly. However those I collected are the version seen commonly, i.e. raised/slightly 3D and shiny.
Astro, KBS World, Asian Food Channel, Al Jazeera, Al Jazeera English, Al Jazeera English (horizontal), 8TV (Malaysia), TV3 (Malaysia), TV9 (Malaysia).
Malaysian Companies
I did the stock ticker template for Bursa Malaysia. Your valuable feedback are welcomed. I've placed the templates in many Malaysian companies, which in the process discovering many missing and low-quality logos.

Hi-res logos I have
While I do welcome others to mail me their detailed scan or reproduction of logos, I myself already have a handful of them. You can anticipate the following list of logos to appear in high-quality raster or vector form in Wikipedia when I'm done processing or "Inkscaping" them. Non-logo images
Finally! I got to create an SVG image that doesn't need long copyright information. Although the very first image was bugged by long-time thumbnail rendering issues, it was fixed in a week courtesy of the folks at Graphic Lab. Credits also go to Cmglee for improving all the images below, thanks a bunch!

I also created the image below for ICAO airport code from the SVG base map that Wikipedia is best known for. The images here are uploaded to Commons but shared here for convenience.
I'm in progress to add details to the image above to include the second letter, which you could say is about 20 times harder (from letters of the Latin alphabet) than creating this image.
OK, maybe not a rookie, but still not a super advanced and active user of Inkscape yet.
