Okay, astronomy is weird there are 8 classical planets. Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Five Dwarf planets. Ceres, Pluto, Haumea, Makemake, and Eris. Also, I created the page Confederation of Central America
I consider there to be 13 planets and I will tell you why

See, the Dwarf Planets are round and massive. About the clearing the orbits thing, Jupiter passes through thousands of objects in its orbit, so does Earth, and if you placed Earth in the kuiper belt, it would not clear its orbit either ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
