I am a PhD student in theoretical high energy physics in Aachen, Germany. Having discovered Wikipedia in late 2003, I was immediately fascinated by the idea and amazed how well it works.

While I may not become a full-time Wikipedian in the near future, I intend to contribute occasionally. Apart from the German version, I will focus on the English version of Wikipedia because it shows the greatest potential, and possibly also work on the French version every once in a while.
