Texas Water Code
The Texas Labor Code is the statutory law enacted by the Texas state legislature to regulate water use, quality, and conservation. It also established a number of agencies including the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, the Texas Water Development Board, and the Water Conservation Advisory Council. [1] The code was enacted in 1971 by Texas HB 343, 62nd R.S. as part of the ongoing revision process begun in 1963. [2]
