History

Felipe Hervoso began AXTY to cope with his own struggles, aiming to raise awareness about mental health issues. After initial instrumental releases, AXTY shifted to include Hervoso's vocals, marking a creative expansion with the single "Persist. Resist." in 2019. Over the next two years, additional members joined: Jonathas Peschiera (bass), Gabriel Vacari (drums) and Felipi Grivol (guitar). This lineup propelled AXTY into the Brazilian metal scene, blending traditional metalcore with influences from deathcore, djent, progressive metal, electronic music, and pop[1][6][9].

At the beginning of 2025, AXTY completed their first tour in the United States as a support band for Born Of Osiris. They have already announced a fall tour in the United States again supporting Born Of Osiris[32][33][34]. The band also performed as support for Chelsea Grin in shows across Argentina and Brazil in 2023.

AXTY played important festivals such as Summerbreeze Brazil (2024) and We missed ourselves (2024) in Mexico.

The band composed and performed the official theme song for CBLOL 2024, collaborating with Edu Falaschi and Lucas Inutilismo.

Music and Influences

AXTY is recognized for their unique fusion of metalcore with genres like deathcore, progressive metal and electronic music. Their sound draws inspiration from bands such as Bring Me The Horizon, Architects, Polaris, Chelsea Grin and Thrown. Their songs focus on resilience, introspection, and life's struggles, resonating with a broad audience[1][9][7].
