User status: It's been four years; maybe it's time to come back. I miss having chances to learn and to make articles better. |

| Hi, my name is Joren and occasionally I make Wikipedia edits. I love learning new things and have lost many hours reading random articles and jumping from link to link as I follow my curiosity. My interests as far as contributing tend to be mostly copy-edits; e.g. if I notice something obviously wrong with the spelling or grammar, I will fix it. However, I do occasionally contribute sources and if sufficiently motivated I will try to organize/clean up an article. I also have an interest in Japan-related topics. Thanks for being interested/creepy enough to read my user page, and have a nice day! |
Areas of interest
I'm likely to prioritize working on articles concerning these topics:
To-do list:
- Working on the articles about Japanese emperors
- Verify (and add to) historical information and Japanese era name date calculation matches with sources
- Elaborate on infobox templates
- General organization (Traditional narrative, timeline, any contemporary historical analysis, then court members and family info)
- Copy-editing, convert some comments to footnotes, over-nihongoization and uber-link remedies. 12 January 2011 (UTC)
Sandboxes
- This is what became the Biblesource template
- This is a template I mocked up for citing the NET Bible; it is a response to proposal on Wikipedia:Citing sources/Bible
