Part A: Finding a Userbox
To find a userbox to use you have a few of options:
- Click on the profiles from this list: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Personal_userbox_galleries
- Make your own
- Use one from here
Once you see one you like you should try to find someething that looks like this: {{User:Username/userbox/NameOfBox}}, if you do not see it, you can click view source and ttry finding it that way.
You should now copy the user link ({{User:Username/userbox/NameOfBox}})
Part B: Using the Userbox
- Go to edit your user page (or where ever you want the box) and find a place you think the box would look good.
- Paste in the {{User:Username/userbox/NameOfBox}} in the desired location and make sure the preview looks correct.
You now have a Userbox on your page
Part C: Advanced
Some userboxes will look like this: {{User:Username/userbox/NameOfBox|value1|value2}}, for these you might need to specify the values to customise the box to look a certain way.
- for example if this is the link you get {{User:Username/userbox/NameOfBox|green|#0e871d}} you could change it to {{User:Username/userbox/NameOfBox|blue|#0e2d97}}
