About Me

I work as a programmer (technically a Test Automation Engineer) for a small contracting company. I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, and a certificate in mathematical modeling, but I enjoy learning about a broad range of topics. In my spare time, I run distributed computing projects, and I like doing astronomy when I can.
I have also contributed several prime sieve applications to the PrimeGrid project. (Hence my signature.) I made one application five times faster, and contributed the project's second CUDA application and their first AMD OpenCL application. I guess this also gives me a conflict of interest if I ever edit the PrimeGrid article again, but it's worth it!
Current Work
- I'd like to see different reference levels for different types of citations. Maybe I'll make a gadget to show some reference levels.
I'm procrastinating:
- Translating es:LZSS to English, to add to LZSS
In the past I've worked political and geographic information about my home state, Colorado, including:
- User:Ken_g6/MunchChicken, a labor of WikiLove!
- Adding/improving infoboxes in all the cities and towns in Colorado.
- Adding those county navigation templates to those cities and towns.
- Creating US county navigation box templates for the counties in Colorado - all done, excluding counties with only one listed community. Here's how I did it.
- Fountain Creek Canyon (draft), not to be confused with Ute Pass.
