For the longest time possible, I was only an apathetic and occasional browser of Wikpedia, relying on it for my projects or the like... Until one fine day, something suddenly clicked into position and I decided to begin editing Wikipedia.
I try to balance out editing Wikipedia with my real-life priorities and unlike some people DO NOT spend all day on Wikipedia *points finger at you!*. For me, editing Wikipedia a few hours a week is more than sufficient * again points finger at you!*.
But on a far more serious note, for the time I spend editing articles, I spend a much larger amount of time reading actual articles; especially featured and good articles. I believe this is the key to writing better articles when the time and opportunity arises and besides I just love blowing up reading stuff.
And finally, I mostly edit articles I have atleast some interest in as hey, how else due to expect one to expand articles with heart and soul and trawl the bottomless depths of the Internet to find sources?
Remember, we are all here to improve Wikipedia and it would be just-so-damned great if all and sundry focus more on cooperating than having the last word.
And yeah, I'd like to end this on that word.
