This template is a shorthand measure of inserting {{cite web}} links to the Laws of the Game as published on the FIFA website.
In its simplest form: {{User:LukeSurl/LOTG}} produces a link to the full PDF of the laws:
"Laws of the Game 2014/2015" (PDF). FIFA.com. FIFA. Retrieved 22 March 2026.
Users can link to the web-based presentation of individual laws by specifying a number between 1 and 17 as an optional parameter. For example: {{User:LukeSurl/LOTG|12}} produces:
"Law 12 - Fouls and misconduct". FIFA.com. FIFA. Retrieved 22 March 2026.
An optional second parameter can be set to interp if the user wishes to reference the relevant Interpretation of the Laws of the Game. For example {{User:LukeSurl/LOTG|12|interp}} produces:
