2022–2025: Career beginnings and Mini dominance

Having first used a go-kart aged three and tested rally cars aged six, Perico moved to the Baltic region in 2022 and began competitive kart racing.CdS2026 Following several podiums in Micro Max competitions across Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, he returned to Italy to contest Mini U10 with Energy Corse in 2023. He progressed across the season—where he finished sixth in the Andrea Margutti Trophy, fifth in the Italian Championship, and featured in the IAME Euro Series—before closing it with victories at the Trofeo delle Industrie, Trofeo d'Autunno, and IAME Final Games, as well as third in the WSK Final Cup.

Perico dominated the category in 2024, opening his year with titles in the WSK Champions Cup, WSK Super Master Series, Andrea Margutti Trophy, and the WSK Open Series, amongst winning his first Italian Championship and the under-10 division of Champions of the Future, where he claimed second overall to Priam Bruno in 60 Mini, as well as a podium in the Russian Championship. He joined Team Driver Racing Kart in Mini Gr.3 the following year, defending his titles in the WSK Super Master Series and the Andrea Margutti Trophy, further claiming victory in the ROK Cup Italia, ROK Cup Superfinal, WSK Final Cup, and Champions of the Future, as well as fourth in the Italian Championship. His early years saw Perico earn the nickname "Nik Dangerous", a reference to his surname, and he finished as the year-end leader at a national level in the International Karting Ranking (IKR) in both 2024 and 2025.

2026–present: Progression to junior classes with Mercedes

For his 2026 season in OKN-Junior—the secondary under-15 international class—Perico joined Kart Republic with the Mercedes Junior Team. He opened his campaign by dominating the WSK Super Master Series. He received permission to progress to OK-Junior a year early.
