My research and writing are situated at the interdisciplinary intersection of anthropology and religion, with a particular emphasis on the ways in which religious and spiritual beliefs and practices are embedded within, and co-constitutive of, cultural frameworks across African societies. I am especially interested in interrogating the complex and evolving relationship between religion and culture, and how this interplay shapes social norms, identity formation, collective memory, and systems of moral and symbolic order. Moreover, I engage with the biographical and intellectual histories of notable African figures whose lives and legacies have profoundly influenced the continent's religious, cultural, and philosophical landscapes. Through this critical and interdisciplinary approach, my work aims to contribute to broader academic discourses on African epistemologies, cultural heritage, and the socio-religious dimensions of contemporary transformation.
