About
Politics
Although I don't much care for politics, I understand its neccessity, but only in a cynical, jaded sort of way. This being said, I could probably be best described as a Libertarian. I'll admit I voted for Bush, but only because he was better than the other guy. I'm still not thrilled with what we got out of the deal. The things that upset me most about the current adminstration are net neutrality, the AT&T/NSA Internet surveillance program, and the Patriot Act. I'm not happy about the way things turned out in Iraq, but hey, we all thought Saddam had weapons. I'm not going to crucify the President over the deal. I wish we'd hurry up and get out of there though.
Music
My obsession would be music, particulary Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, John Prine, Guy Clark and just to toss in a new face, Neko Case. I also like The Arcade Fire and Moby.
Books
Current Projects
I'm a member of the Missouri WikiProject, but unfortunately for them, I haven't done much lately.
- I have also made considerable effort on Ken McElroy.
- I have made considerable contributions to the stub Robert Ford (outlaw).
- I am currently working on researching and documenting Charles Ray Hatcher.
(Apparently, I have this thing for documenting violent criminals.)
- I'm was working on reorganizing and reformatting the List of megachurches. But then it was purged. Oh well.
