Outline of proposed changes
Click on the edit button to draft your outline.
| Now that you have compiled a bibliography, it's time to plan out how you'll improve your assigned article.
In this section, write up a concise outline of how the sources you've identified will add relevant information to your chosen article. Be sure to discuss what content gap your additions tackle and how these additions will improve the article's quality. Consider other changes you'll make to the article, including possible deletions of irrelevant, outdated, or incorrect information, restructuring of the article to improve its readability or any other change you plan on making. This is your chance to really think about how your proposed additions will improve your chosen article and to vet your sources even further. Note: This is not a draft. This is an outline/plan where you can think about how the sources you've identified will fill in a content gap. |
I would like to add a section on limitations of the program. Additionally, I want to add more to the use in prevention section with specific results from the studies done on the effectiveness of the program. There are some other programs mentioned such as Coping Cat and I would like to provide a comparison of other programs with FRIENDS program. Finally, I would want to change the translation and International use section by making it in a tabular form with list of countries where it is being administered.
- Adding a limitations section: Using the sources, I will add a paragraph about how while the FRIENDS program has shown to reduce anxiety symptoms, the effects vary based on factors such as implementation conditions, context etc.
- Improving the Use in Prevention section: Instead of just saying mixed results, I want to specify how studies showed reduction in anxiety symptoms when implemented within school settings. Studies involving follow ups showed long term benefits as well. But I will note there was a variability in the effectiveness of the program across studies.
- Adding a section on comparison with Coping Cat program: Coping cat program is clinic based while FRIENDS is school based and offering a comparison on these two anxiety prevention programs will offer comparison on their implementation and broader results.
- Converting the international use section into a table for clarity on where it is being implemented so it is more visually appealing and specific in terms of which countries it is being implemented in.
