Summary
I am a user who makes edits to pages that are either lacking information altogether or are not thorough enough with their given information.
I always try to find the most reliable sources as well as checking various sources to see if the information matches to see its reliability. If an editor choose to revert or change my edits I would wish to be informed and would appreciate it if they would explain why they did it, so I can either learn or justify my additions. Of course I do slip up now and then, so I understand that a removal of my additions would be wholly appropriate in those circumstances and I always ensure to thank users in these situations and see this as an opportunity to learn and grow from my mistakes in order to make me a more thorough and articular
I always try to fill articles with information and complete lacking or poorly sourced areas in order to raise the quality of the articles.
Articles relating to musicians and music are my main focus as I have an ever growing passion for these topics.
Through the years of my time on Wikipedia, I have learnt many things about creating a well round and balanced article, regarding structuring of articles and citations. I have since familiarised myself with the guidelines and consider them whenever I edit an article. I have learned from these errors, such as the correct use of citation and copyright regulations regarding references.
Depeche Mode

Depeche Mode were among the first articles I began to contribute my efforts towards. This period of editing taught me a lot of what serves as appropriate and inappropriate additions. On the page for the single "Precious" my edit was swiftly removed by another user for it using references taken from a fan website. Since I hadn't encountered any issues with using fan websites as sources in the past, this came as a surprise to me. I have stayed away from fan websites for references, unless they reference outside sources that are accepted, and have not encountered this issue since.
I have dedicated a lot of my time restlessly researching information on Depeche Mode and wish to lift all related articles to the highest standard possible. My goal is to apply as much reliable information to a page as possible to allow viewers to absorb all they could want to know about the subject.
Articles I have contributed to greatly in this subject:
The Cure

After dedicating a long period of time to editing Depeche Mode articles, I moved onto the Cure. I had learned a lot from my experiences in editing articles so I feel that by this time I had started to get a grip on my editing style and enhancing articles to a greater degree. My edits for the Cure have faced much less backlash as I feel they are more informative and clearer than my previous edits, while also adopting less copied quotes lifted from the sources, which was another issue I faced previously.
I have searched many sources for these articles, incorporating all the information I have currently found if I find it to be relevant and appropriate. I have also avoided fan websites for references as this was an issue I encountered when I heavily editing Depeche Mode articles.
After some experience with creating The The articles (see below), I decided I would also create articles for the Cure, starting with "Plainsong". I want this to be the beginning of a project to create as many song pages for the Cure as possible, with this being common for successful bands. I aim to try and cover all of the songs on Disintegration with articles of their own as it is a notable album for the band, with the majority of the songs having strong meanings, critical response and background information on them. I will try and maintain quality throughout these articles and if I feel they cannot have well sourced articles, I will not pursue them.

Eels and Other Revelations

Whilst I was editing articles for the Cure, I also edited many Eels articles. I used these pages to truly hone in on my skills for song analysis and appropriate sourcing. This also served as a good area to expand much deserved articles with lots of information that were severely lacking.

The The

I have contributed to articles related to The The, as well as created my first article, Ensoulment (2024) which was graded with a C. I am going to be editing and possibly creating more articles on this topic. This has been a huge step forward for me as an editor as I am now striving to create more articles and feel more confident in my editing processes, contributing more thorough sources and ensuring that I incorporate reference material in the most appropriate way without copying and pasting word for word, and quoting only relevant statements and reducing quotes so they are as small and concise as possible.
