From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hello there! I primarily edit things related to Catholic ecclesial structures, but other topics interest me from time to time. I appreciate the Gnomes and sometimes use gadgets (HotCat, Shortdesc helper, etc.) to improve the encyclopedia in little ways in addition beyond my article expansion or creation.

I edit Wikipedia because it is fun (see "Wikipedia is an MMORPG"). Therefore, I do not like parliamentary procedure. In particular, the bureaucracy of GA and DYK nominations is intolerable. Please do not expect me to follow up on such matters.
I have used my Sandbox to push dirt try templates and build castles articles.
I also have a Pittsburgh Churches sandbox to update the list of churches in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh page, one that is currently visually sub-par and factually out of date.
Article expansion
Included are articles which I expanded at least 2x:
- Diocese of Cancún-Chetumal - Catholic diocese in Mexico (erected 2020)
- Pambo - Christian church father (4th century)
- St. John Chrysostom Byzantine Catholic Church - church building in Pennsylvania, USA (completed 1932)
- Aleksejs Vidavskis - Latvian politician (1943-2020)
- I found this article as a stub. Expanding it was great practice with machine-assisted translation (I have no functional Latvian literacy), inter-wiki linking, and utilizing cross-language templates. In my opinion, the English Wikipedia article is now better than the Latvian.
- Lawrence H. Keeley - American archaeologist (1948-2017)
- Józef Kupny - Catholic Polish bishop (born 1956)
- Ramon Bejarano - Catholic American bishop (born 1969)
- This expansion was not actually 2x, so I am violating my own rule, but I significantly expanded the citations and clarified his participation in various social ministries. That was valuable because he faced detraction following his 2025 appointment. Putting more sources and info on his English Wikipedia page might make the relevant information more available and less sensational.
- Peter Dai Bui - Catholic American bishop from Vietnam (born 1970)
- Another user made this page at the same time as me. I panicked a bit when I saw my edits disappear but the editor saved them, so I just pasted much of it into the new page. This is the first time I thought I bit a newbie, but it was an established editor enthusiastically making the page.
- Lucio Nicoletto - Catholic Brazilian bishop from Italy (born 1972)
Article creation
Below are articles which did not exist on English Wikipedia until I said so:
- Diocese of Mafinga - Catholic diocese in Tanzania (erected 2023)
- Diocese of Koumra - Catholic diocese in Chad (erected 2023)
- Diocese of Rawson - Catholic diocese in Argentina (erected 2023)
- Diocese of Canindeyú - Catholic diocese in Paraguay (erected 2024)
- Diocese of Boké - Catholic diocese in Guinea (erected 2024)
- Diocese of Stella Maris - Catholic diocese in Dominican Republic (erected 2025)
- Salvador González Morales - Catholic Mexican bishop (born 1971)
- This English Wikipedia page was created almost exclusively from Spanish-language sources. Evaluating sources in a non-native language is an interesting thing to attempt. Hopefully it was a good shot. If not, some other editor can trim it back.
- Manuel Antonio Ruíz de la Rosa - Catholic Dominican bishop (born 1965)
- My first attempt at creating a "Good Article" from scratch. There is no assurance that this is what I did, but it is (to date) my largest single edit as far as I can figure.
- Simon Kofi Appiah - Catholic Ghanaian bishop (born 1964)
- Torchlight: Infinite - 2022 video game
- Topically out of the way but fun side quest.
