    • Reason: Complex numbers aren't the only complex part of math though? For one, several people have lamented (publicly and privately) about how stuff like calculus and algebra are complex as well. For second, what's considered complex can be different from person to person (for example, a 6-year-old would think something like "8/4" is the hardest question ever made whereas a recreational mathematician could probably do it easily), so complex numbers might not actually be that complex to certain people.

      To put it more politely, this article isn't about the Android vs. Apple debate in a viewpoint that puts it into the perspective of Wikipedia (like, for example, WP:BFDI does) but rather reads like a kind of soapbox to share your opinions regarding the Android vs. Apple debate (which is what Reddit is for and not us)

    • Reason: There are somehow FOUR (three if you don't count the "The Expanse" one) possible targets for this page:
      - The current target, talks more about the history of protos than defining them.
      - The Wiktionary page, which actually defines them in a easy-to-understand way.
      - The Expanse (tv series), although [mention] in that article simply says "Hey, someone named Daniel Kash is the head researcher of Protogen" and doesn't elaborate on Protogen itself so probably not a good target.
      - According to Wiktionary, Protoporphyrinogen IX might also be a reasonable target for biochemists.
      If this RFD was made some-time in the 2010's, I probably would've picked Protoporphyrinogen IX as a definite target. However, this is 2025 so the first two targets would probably be the best ones.
      So, the question is: which one of the first two targets does the community of Wikipedia editors think is a better one? One that talks about the HISTORY of protos but doesn't actually define them for people who don't know what they are, OR a soft redirect to the Wiktionary page which is just objectively good (however, since it's a soft redirect, BOLDly retargeting it would probably be controversial)

      weak, because the kink seems to be a way more common meaning for "master/slave relationship" but still worthy enough of a hatnote. this is only in RfD because i still have no idea if this is even a likely enough ambiguation TO need a hatnote in the first place

      Beanie Babies come in many forms, whereas Beanie Boos are specifically big-eyed, small plushies. Beanie Boos are mentioned multiple times by name on ENWP, but none of them (save for probably the company's page as a TM:R with possibilities?) seem like a good fit.
