- interrupter. Started as a Golding Bird spinoff but needs expanding, it is very unbalanced as it is. Some info at Peter Cooper Hewitt, Nicholas Callan, Arthur Wehnelt, Charles Grafton Page, List of Nikola Tesla patents. Applications mentioned at Christmas lighting technology, electric bell, contact breaker
- Frequency response. has made the article very unbalanced towards audio.
- Power dividers and directional couplers might be wise to extend to fibre-optic devices if going for FA. Hard to argue against as the article now covers waveguide and fibre is a form of waveguide. Now also a comment on the talk page about integrated photonics.
- The opening of Morse code history section has a couple of problems. There is a false comparison between Morse beginning development and Cook and Wheatstone putting into service. Cook and Wheatstone were in fact first. Also, much of the Cook and Wheatstone part is a bit of a diversion from the article subject

Some material from mechanical-electrical analogies could usefully be transferred. Also, the redlinks effort variable and flow variable should link to somewhere useful. Actually, flow variable is not a redlink, but even worse, it goes somewhere irrelevant to analogies.

Hubbard (see Schilling article), p. 14 has an interesting comment on Steinheil. - Earth mode communication. Mentioned on ultra low frequency. There was also a discussion somewhere about germans listening in to earth-return telegraphy in WWI. I don't think that's true, it was probably earth mode misremembered.

- Outphasing. There is already Ampliphase but that is a trade name of an obsolete version. The article does not cover the modern resurgence of the idea.
