My belief is that anybody, with little previous knowledge of a subject, ought to be able to understand at least the begining section of any article and that complex and convoluted writing styles are an impediment to this objective. This should NOT be 'rocket science'. Keep it simple, at least at the start, and write with clarity and conciseness.
In general my contributions will be editorial rather than original, unless I have a good understanding of the material at hand.
