He joined Wikimedia in 2016 while attending his first year as a PhD student in Polytechnic University of Milan. He gained his PhD in Computer Science Engineering in July 2019. He worked as a research fellow at Polytechnic University of Milan till February 2020. He worked as compiler engineer and research engineer at Codeplay from March 2020 till February 2021. He worked as Lecturer at Edinburgh Napier University from 2021 to 2023, when he began working as Associate Professor in Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim. In 2026, he co-funded a consultancy company with a colleague. His research area includes compilers and Approximate computing.
